Tsarnaev jurors verdict in penalty phase

The jury has reached a verdict in the case of Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev.

The panel of seven men and five women will return to the courtroom in US District Court in Boston at 3 p.

m. to deliver their ruling on whether Tsarnaev should get death or be imprisoned for the rest of his life.

The verdict came toward the end of the second full day of deliberations. The jury has been reviewing a 24-page verdict sheet since late Wednesday afternoon, and spent all of Thursday deliberating.
