Ansar al-Sharia, commander Ahmed Abu Khattala, was captured Sunday during a joint U.S. military and law enforcement operation, and supposedly will face prosecution here in the States, according to Fox News. White House and Pentagon officials confirmed the capture.
In a written statement, Obama said,
“The United States has an unwavering commitment to bring to justice those responsible for harming Americans.
”
Didn’t Eric Holder’s gun-running stunt in Fast and Furious get an American border agent killed? Might be a little bit of ‘wavering’ going on there.’
Like most Democrats, Obama wants to sound tough, but when it comes to actually ‘ridding’ the world of this terrorist, well, let’s see whether he’s given death or a room all his own, with three squares a day, a work-out facility, maybe a DVD rental card, and who knows what else our incarceration punishments offer.
Too bad this guy isn’t a baby resting peacefully in his mother’s womb. If he were, under this administration, he wouldn’t have a chance!
As usual, Obama wants to try this terrorist in our criminal court system with all our judicial protections and God-given American rights. I mean, well, since he’s an American he has all the same right’s as . . . oh, wait. No, that’s right. HE’S A MIDDLE EASTERN TERRORIST!
“But,” squeals the Liberal, “shouldn’t he be afforded the same rights as any of us?”

I don’t know, call me crazy, but when the most crimson-drenched abortionist Senator-come-President this country has ever seen says,
“We counter terrorism not just through intelligence and military action, but by remaining true to our Constitutional ideals, and setting an example for the rest of the world.”
I tend to get a little nauseated.
Part of the emetic would be that a Constitutional Law professor, as Obama claims to be, acted against the law when he made the trade of five Taliban leaders for Army sergeant, Bowe Bergdahl. According to the law, prison swaps must be sent to Congress 30 days ahead of time.
Obama ignored that law.
So when Obama says things like,
“Because of (military, law enforcement, and intelligence personnel’s) courage and professionalism, this individual will now face the full weight of the American justice system,”
much rings hollow.
Will those responsible for the disappearance of the emails concerning the IRS targeting Conservative groups “face the full weight of the American justice system.” ???
Will Eric Holder who sent hundreds of guns to Mexico resulting in dozens and dozens of innocent Mexicans’ deaths, and one American agent “face the full weight of the American justice system.” ???
Will Barack Obama, absent from the War Room during the assault on our embassy in Benghazi and leaving our men to die “face the full weight of the American justice system.” ???
I doubt it.
Our socialist President has said via hand-out from the DHS that terrorists of the domestic flavor,
“may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.”
So, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, and the Tea Party are considered “domestic terrorists” while the Taliban are considered by Jay Carney, Obama’s Press Secretary, “enemy combatants.”
I think We The People have faced the full weight of Obama’s justice system.
Yes, America, we’ve grown fat these last couple of decades and it’s time we went on a strict diet of The Constitution.
