I know bringing up the past is inconvenient, but is their a statute of limitations on criminal negligence?
Dear President Obama,
It seems like this last week has your trajectory on a roll. Your radicalized Supreme Court justices have just about given you everything you want. They once again defeated a challenge to the Affordable Health Care Act, are busy slapping the great state of Texas with injunctions preventing abortion clinics from being closed down, and you have managed to get same sex marriages rammed through the legal system.
Now, Mister President, you can gloat over your victory having forced the vast majority of Americans to knuckle under to your transformation of America whether they agreed with it or not. Like yourself, sir, you even got the Supreme Court Justices to forget about defending and interpreting the US Constitution! I am sure that you are quite proud of yourself.I have another matter I wanted to mention to you, Mister President. It concerns Benghazi, you know that messy little situation that occurred after you supported the overthrow of Moamar Gaddafi. I am curious, after you had been briefed by Director of the CIA, Leon Panetta, on the heavy coordinated attack on the Ambassador’s compound and you knew there were American Department of State employees whose lives hung in the balance as waiting for rescue that you simply went to bed in anticipation of your big celebrity campaign fundraiser, I wonder how you slept. Personally, I don’t think there would be a sleeping pill strong enough to put me under if I were responsible for the lives of Americans under assault, but that didn’t seem to matter to you one bit.
As a matter of fact, Mister President, was it not the very next day that the Defense Intelligence Agency handed you a report that indeed the American consulate had been assaulted by heavily armed terrorists and that it was not the out of control unrest caused by protestors that you went in front of the American people and knowingly lied about?
You even blamed it on some little known film shot by an Egyptian producer who made a comedy about Muslims even though you already knew that this was not true. You even appeared on Arab TV buying 70 thousand dollars of air time to make sure that Muslims knew that you, Hillary Clinton, and the US government did not support a film that might have offended Muslims when no one even knew the film existed? What was the point Mister President? Did the lives of those 4 Americans who got murdered at the hands of terrorists simply not matter to you?Mister President, did you ever put yourself in their shoes desperately waiting for rescue while being attacked as the compound burned down? Did you ever wonder what it must have been like? Well, sir, I guess not since you had bigger fish to fry, right? I mean, you had to go rub elbows with the stars and play Mister Big Shot the next day after our Ambassador was killed along with 3 other Americans and after several others had been wounded during the attack. I wonder Mister President, was it you who ordered the stand down of US military rescue forces, the only chance in hell that these people had of remaining alive?
Mister President, what were you thinking as 20 additional US consulates through out North Africa and the Middle East were similarly attacked and burned down? Did you not mobilize US forces to protect or evacuate them? Why didn’t you give the order, Sir? Did it never occur to you to do so? Another troubling question if I may, Sir, why were all survivors of Benghazi who were wounded and recuperating in hospitals given a gag order not to speak about their ordeal to the public? What did you have to hide, Mister President? It seems, Sir, that you have an incredible ambivalence to the safety and welfare of American citizens.
Well, that’s all for right now Mister Obama. I am sure you have many pressing matters such as your next golf session on the greens or what Saul Alinsky strategy that you can implement next, so I will let you got until next time. One more thing, Mister President, do you have a conscience at all or are you just really good at rationalizing everything that you do as being great and justifiable by your own rules? I am truly wondering.
